Brad Sommers wishes to thank all the MATPA members for all their thoughts and prayers on his recovery.  I spoke with him on the phone the other night - and he is doing very well and ready to get back to work.

    One reason I haven't been updating too much lately is that I had my knee surgery on October 16th.  Everything went well - at least I thought.  Courtney may disagree, considering I tried to go downstairs and work on the computer and ended up breaking open the incisions and bleeding all over the carpet.  HA-HA.  She got it all cleaned up and bandaged me back up.  And then proceeded to tell me to sit back and do nothing - or she was going to take the crutches and force me to have surgery on the other knee!  I was able to go back to work on the 20th and get rid of the crutches a few days later.  I went to the doctor yesterday for a check up and he said everything looked fine.

  Don't forget about the meeting in Higginsville on November 8th!  Be thinking about any rules changes that need to be made.  Bring a big appetite and we'll see you there!!!!!!!!!!!
