JANUARY NEWSLETTER (2008)
Thanks to alot of hard work from some individuals (I'm not going to name names because I'll forget) - the Banquet went off without a hitch! The food was good and there were lots of people there to enjoy it. The weather was a little cold, but we were able to sit down and relax and visit with some people we hadn't seen in several months. Andrew started off the meeting after the meal and began with officer elections. Below are the following people who were elected to an office:
President - Steve Borts
Vice President - Frank Young
Treasurer - Billy Montgomery
Secretary - Mike Moore
Board Member - John Dye
Board Member - Reed Nichols

After officer elections, Andrew wrapped up the meeting with the awards for first and second place in the respective points classes. You can see the picture on the front page of the website. First place was given a embroidered Carhart Coat, and second place was given an embroidered shirt. Congratulations to all the winners!!!
We are going to be working on an article to send to the Hook Magazine about the banquet with pictures. Hopefully it will get published.
Don't forget - we have a meeting in Higginsville on Feb 9th at John Dyes. Go to OFF SEASON MEETINGS in order to get directions.
Thanks again for everyones support for this great pulling organization we have established. As your new president - I will strive very hard to please the membership and help our club grow like it needs to.
