Well - it got cold!! Hope everyone has made it alright through the winter weather and all the slippery road conditions. It was pretty bad around here for a couple of days. If by chance you wrecked your vehicle and are in need of transportation - my phone number is 800-366-2165. :)
After the officer elections, I guess I will take on the job of President one more year. According to my wife, (and myself) this will be my last year as your President - so be thinking of a good replacement. I hope I was able to do the members good last year. I know I got wound up a couple of times - no excuses - I'll try to do better next year. Hopefully - no more rainouts and a lot less stress for the year to come. Fuel prices have seem to come down, but the economy is struggling. Hang in there - everything goes in cycles. It's bound to get better!!!!!
Still working on putting my tractor together. I've actually spent a couple of nights getting ready to put the pistons in the block. I thought it was pretty easy to put these things together - wrong, especially when you only get about 1- 1/2 per night to work on it. Hopefully, I'll have the engine together and in the tractor by the New Year. Maybe the Doctor and Surgeon will come by and put it together while I'm not looking.
Don't forget about the rules meeting and the awards banquet. These are very important meetings for all to attend!!
