11/30:
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!! I hope all is well. Things are moving around the Borts house. Both of our boys have their birthdays around this time of year. Keegan just turned 7 at the end of October, and Kendall will be 4 in a couple of days. So Courtney is on my case to help clean the house. I'm running out of excuses - first there was deer season, then working on my neighbor's tractor, the firehouse and firetrucks needed some attention, and the MATPA meeting. The only excuse I have left - is putting my tractor together - and she's not buying that one anymore. So I guess I had better get the vacuum sweeper and get to work.
I actually think I have enough things out of the way that I can get the 570 out and get it put together this winter. The "Doctor" and the "Surgeon" seem to think it won't be too big of a deal. We'll see - I never have anything go that easy!
Congratulations to all the MATPA pullers who attended the first NATPA pull of the 08-09 season. It was held in Columbia, and I was told the MATPA made a great showing.
I hope some of you had better luck at deer hunting than I did. I only saw one 6-point buck on opening day, and didn't see another deer at all the rest of the season. From what I heard, numbers were really down this year. I'm sure the weather patterns before the season didn't help much.
Don't forget - the December meeting is December 6 in Fulton, MO. This is also Officer Elections. We'll see you all there!!!!
